Big Blow for Kotoko: Maxwell Baakoh out for 12 weeks

The Porcupine Warriors have been dealt with a heavy blow as the diminutive winger will be not be available for couple of weeks.

Asante Kotoko winger Maxwell Baakoh has been ruled out of action for twelve weeks according to Coach CK Akonnor.
The 22-year-old suffered an injury in their last training ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match with Nkana FC at home.
“Maxwell Baakoh was not part of the team due to an injury he picked up some weeks ago,” Coach Akonnor told reporters after the match.
“He will be out for twelve weeks if he undergoes a surgery but the extent of the injury will be six months without a surgery”
He was replaced by Martin Antwi in their 3-0 heavy home victory over Zambian side Nkana FC in the match-day four of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Baakoh has made eight appearances for Asante Kotoko so far in the competition.
