Veteran Highlife musician who is also a staunch member of the Opposition NDC party, Mr. Rex Owusu Marfo with the stage name Rex Omar has revealed what her mother told him some years back, warning him to do politics without insult.

Politics in Ghana is full of insults which do not make the job look attractive to those with competency to help the country to develop, with the fear of being humiliated by the opponent.

According to the “Abiba” hit maker, his mother, Madam Grace Boachie, once  advised him never to insult his opponent in his line of duty as a politician.
In a Facebook post that the legend shared on his wall to celebrate his mother on the mothers’ day, monitored by brightwebtv.com, he said his mother told him to do politics with love and refrain from insults when pointing out mistakes from the opponents, and he assured her of complying with her directives.
Quoting him he said, “My mum once told me, Kwame, if you will do politics, do it with LOVE,
Never insult your opponents as you point out their mistakes to them, will you promise me on that, and he said Yes mum I will try”, he shared on his wall.

Below is how he wrote it.
