Dating rumours with Wendy Shay ruined my relationship – Bullet

The Chief Executive Officer of Ruff Town Records, Bullet, has dared any female artiste he has worked with who claims he dated her, to come out and declare it publicly.

This follows rumours that the artiste manager is currently dating Ghanaian dancehall artiste Wendy Shay.

He was also alleged to have dated deceased dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns, who he managed before her death.

Wendy Shay walked out on Accra100.5FM’s Nana Romeo during an interview on the station’s mid-morning show ‘Ayekoo Ayekoo’ on Tuesday, 9 June 2020.

The ‘Kut It’ hitmaker got furious as Nana Romeo repetitively asked her if she was having an amorous affair with her manager Bullet.

Shay told the host she did not find interest in that style of questioning because her two-year old existence in the music industry has been progressive and, thus, it was high time the focus was shifted to promoting her brand to the next level and Ghana music onto the international level.

She denied dating her manager Bullet, known in real life as Ricky Nana Agyeman.

“I am not dating Bullet. I don’t know why most of the time when I go for interviews, instead of focusing on issues that will bring progress in our music industry, I get these questions … Let’s focus on my artistry, pushing my brand and Ghana music to the international level”, she told Nana Romeo.

“I’m here to promote my single and I’m celebrating two years in the industry. Let’s move to the next question,” she insisted.

In a post on Instagram, the Ruff Town Record owner bemoaned the effect of the rumours on his relationship and called on the general public to focus on his works instead of his relationships.

He wrote: “These bloggers and journalists don’t know what they put some of us through when they publish stuffs like ‘BULLET HAS BEEN SLEEPING WITH HIS ARTISTS’ etc. You people just ruined my relationship with my girlfriend right now. I hv worked with several women both underground and mainstream. I dare any woman I hv Worked with to come out with evidence if indeed so, i dare you put it out there. Nkwasiasem this nonsense must stop. Focus on promoting my works not relationship. FI! #PushTheMusicNotRelationship #RuffTownRecords.”
