A BLACK AMERICAN LADY MOTIVATED ME TO RECORD RAWLINGS AND KUFFOUR SONG- SHASHAMALEY REVEALS

Famous Ghanaian Reggae singer, Julius Amua-Sekyi , known in the show base as ‘Shasha Marley’, has disclosed the motivation behind one of his hit songs “Kuffour and Rawlings” which got more people talking.
According to the “Maata Family” hitmake In a live interview on Accra based “Accra Fm” monitored by brightwebtv.om, he narrated how he met one Black American lady in a plane and through conversation, motivated him to record “Kuffour and Rawlings”.
“It has a long story, Look, how the song came, I had already recorded my ”Lost and found album”, with 13 songs, so I was going on vacation from New York to Orleans, in the plane, I decided to use the lavatory, so when I was coming to take my seat, one black American (fair coloured) woman, approached me and asked, are you from Africa?, and I said yes, and she said where?, and I replied Ghana, and she said waooo!!!, I was in Ghana, you know I love Ghana, your democracy and the way you do your politics, I just love Ghana, and we engaged in a conversation, so I was standing and she was sitting, in the plane.
And she said ” I was in Ghana when Rawlings made his boom speech, I hope you remember Rawlings made a comment that, the way Kuffour is ruling Ghana if care is not taken, there is going to be boom in the country, and I said waooo for real, then you know Ghana politics?.
I also remembered sometime a go, Kuffour also went to Cape Coast for New Patriotic Party (NPP)s National Congress, and he also made a statement deemed to reply Rawlings, and said, “ what is Rawlings saying?, now the money is going to flow waa!! Waa!!!, so it was, Rawlings says Boom!Boom!! boom!!! and Koffour says waa! Waa!!, waa!!!

So when I got to Orleans, I remembered that I should have collected the woman’s contact.
So when I got back to New York, one evening I was in the shower, when something came in mind saying Rawlings say Boomboom bom, Kuffour say waa waa waa, them belly full but we hungry eeeaaa!!!!.( their stomach is full and we are hungry)
So I sat down and said no, these two great personalities , they are staying on the same highway, if you take Trotro from Madina to Accra, after the first interchange, Tetteh Quashie interchange, on your right is Kuffour’s house, on the same avenue, and after AKo Adjei’s Interchange, Rawlings’ house is also on your right.
So they are all on the same straight road, their houses come after an interchange, and on the right hand side are their houses, and I said to myself, come on, I can make a song out of this, and that was it, he told the Dr. K. on Nkran kwanso show.
