The so called one District one factory in my District is a forest now – Kofi Adams

The Former Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kofi Adams has stated that the so called one District one Factory project is a failed promise and that in his District, the factory does not exist as at today.

According to Mr Kofi Adams, the designated place for the construction of the Factory is now a Forest where you will find animals and boys hunting for them. Mr Kofi Adams emphasized that since the Agriculture Minister came to Jaasikan District there to cut sod for the construction of the factory, nothing had been brought there till today and that the place is a full grown forest now.

Mr Kofi Adams further stated that what the New Patriotic Party is claiming to be one district one factory project is not the reality and that none exist because what they are doing is facilitating people who want to build factories and not building factories as they promised. According to Mr Kofi Adams the NPP promised to build factories in every District and not to facilitate people who want to build factories. He also stated that that the NDC facilitated the establishment of several factories as well in this country. He therefore noted that the One District one Factory project is a failed promise.

Mr Kofi Adams further alleged that the only thing he can see after the sod cutting is the change of sign board but the real factory does not exist.
