Bosomtwe Assemblymen embark on door to door campaign for election 2020

As part of efforts in canvassing for votes of the electorates ahead of this year’s election slated for Monday December 7, about 45 current and former Assembly members of the Bosomtwe District who are affiliated to the ruling NPP, have intensified their ‘door – to – door campaign’ at the various markets and business areas within the Bosomtwe Constituency, aimed at convincing electorates especially the market women to vote massively to retain the Nana Akufo Addo and his NPP government in power for the next four (4) years.

The ‘door – to – door’ campaign according to the Assembly members their motive is to educate electorates on the need to vote for the NPP and position occupied by President Akufo Addo and the NPP’s Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum on the ballot papers ahead of Monday’s election.
Among the places visited by the Assembly members include; Aputogya, jachie markets, Aduaben, Nkwanta, Sewua-Atobiase, Kuntenase, Woara Kesse and other farming communities in the district.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with OTEC fm’s Evans Agyei Sikapa, Presiding Member for the Bosomtwe District Assembly who doubles as the District NADMO coordinator Hon. Okatakyie Michael Yaw Nkwanta urged market women and farmers to vote massively to retain President Nana Akufo Addo and Bosomtwe MP Hon. Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum in power to continue with their developmental projects and policies.
According to him, retaining the Nana Addo led NPP government in power will mean their suffering will be a thing of the past, adding that there will be a boost in local businesses under the next NPP government as many initiatives have been laid down to ensure lives of the ordinary Ghanaian becomes better.
