The President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has ordered the suspension of the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosome Freho.

The suspension is to make way for an investigation into his involvement in galamsey.

In his stead, the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah has been asked to have oversight responsibility over the District.

It could be remembered that the President during his meeting with MMDCEs said the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosome Freho Yaw Danso was under investigation for his involvement in illegal mining.
