AaGBE WO DEMONSTRATION COMMENDABLE _ CHIEF IMAM

The President of Council Of Northern chiefs at Mpasatia Chief Abdullai Mohammed has comended the organizers of “Aagbe Wo” demonstration which was held today at Accra .

A group calling itself the Inter-Party Coalition for National Sovereignty led by the largest opposition party NDC today hit the streets of Accra to protest their displeasure with regards to violent clashes that temporarily disrupted the Ayawaso West Wuogon electoral process at the La Bawaleshie Center.

The demonstration dubbed ‘Aagbe Wo’ which means, “we are being killed” brought Ghanaians together to send a clear signal to the government to check the level of insecurity in Ghana which they say threatens the country’s democracy.

When Otec Fm News reporter Derrick Ekuoba Gyasi visited the outspoken chief at his residence just after the demonstration , Chief Abdullai said the Organizers of the demonstration needs to be commended .

According to him the demonstration will put the government and other stakeholders on their toes, we cannot sit down as people and behave as nothing is happening .

Chief Abdullai was one of the most people who were quick to conderm the Ayawaso West Wougon clashes and called for stakeholders to sit up as the security of the country is at stake.

He further appealed to the government and the opposition parties to be mindful of their Vigilante groups and called on the security agencies to consider and disband all the Vigilante groups as it poses danger to the peace and security of the country .
