2020: Minister exposes NDC wicked agenda in A/R; promises them boot-for-boot

It seems the 2020 general elections will be one of difficult polls for the opposition  National Democratic Congress (NDC) to obtain more votes in Ashanti Region as the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) has vowed to win all the 47 parliamentary seats, MyNewsGh.com reports.

Regional Security Council (REGSEC) Chairman who doubles as Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah has dropped hint that his outfit has picked intelligence of machinations by the NDC to forment trouble in order to smoothen its paths in the region to win more votes.
He has therefore warned members and executives of the NDC to stop targeting Ashanti region with evil plans just to win more votes in 2020 elections insisting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win 90% popular votes in the area.
Speaking at the NPP Youth Conference and Inauguration of working committee in Kumasi on Saturday, he revealed that measures have been put in place to deal with any security threat in the region.
According to Hon Simon Osei Mensah, NPP party will overcome NDC in the Ashanti region despite all their evil plans to get more votes in the region.

“NDC members and executives have targeted Ashanti Region, President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Bawumia. Anytime they will get the platform they want to insult the president and his Vice. They have targeted Ashanti region will evil plans just to get more votes but they are joking. NPP will overcome NDC in Ashanti region. NPP will win 2020 peacefully. NPP will not kidnap women and children just to win power. NPP will not plan evil for this country to win power” he said.
According to him, NDC should not be an alternative to govern this country saying that the bad things NPP government will do in power is the best achievement of NDC government.

“Come to my office anytime you hear any security threat or evil plans in the region and I can assure you that we will deal with it. This country must be governed with peace. Ashanti region will be peaceful before and after 2020 elections. No evil plans can win because measures have been put in place to deal with any security threat in the region” he promised.
