Radio Gold’s ‘Baboo’ dead

Radio Gold’s founder and CEO Kwasi Saint Baffoe-Bonnie has died. 

Baboo, as he was popularly known, passed away on Monday, 1 February 2021.

Some sources say he had just recovered from an illness before dying.

Radio Gold, which is openly affiliated to the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), was shut down in 2019 by the National Communication Authority for certain infractions.
