(Pictures) WEST JAM FOUNDATION DONATES TO REMAR GHANA ORPHANAGE HOME

West Jam Foundation (NGO) based in the United Kingdom (UK) has today friday, 27 September 2019 donated some items to the Remar Ghana Orphanage Home at Patasi in the Nhyiaeso Constituency Kumasi, of the Ashanti Region.

 

The items which are valued at thousands of Ghana Cedis including bags of rice, toiletries,  soaps, detergent, gallons of frytol cooking oil, biscuits, cartons of milk, bags of sachet water, bags of sugar, assorted and soft drinks and an undisclosed amount of money to the orphanage home and as well had lunch with the kids.

 


Addressing the children during the presentation  the C.E.O for West Jam Foundation Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Frimpong ( KOFI JAM) said, the items donated ,  though little, but is to add to the comfort of the children.
Kofi Jam said the children, all of them  have big dreams of becoming great in future need much attention, care and protection hence, the gesture, which  according to him, will not be a one-day wonder.

 

“We are on a mission to pull resources together to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the Ghanaian society,” he said.

“I think these people need more attention in any society, because if they are not integrated and transformed, they will continue as societal burden,” he told brightwebtv.com correspondent.

Mr.Kofi Jam urged the teachers and caretakers to make it a duty to train the children to be responsible, hardworking  and   instill in them the culture of cleanliness and to take sanitation seriously.

Receiving the items on behalf of management of the Home, Mr. Joseph Asare, expressed gratitude to West Jam Foundation and promised to ensure that the items are used to support the children’s welfare.
Mr. Joseph who was enthused about the donations appealed to corporate organisations and benevolent individuals to assist the home which currently has about 35 children under his care.
