Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Jennifer Oforiwaa Prempeh, widely known as Jenifer Queen, threw caution to the wind when she engaged in a street fight on New Year’s Day.

According to information gathered by MyNewsGh.com, the leading NPP official was among many including her opponent who had gone for a drink up on Wednesday 1st January 2020 at Dome pillar 2, K Boat Junction near Heart of Lions.

It is not immediately known if she already had a grudge with her opponent, identified as Jade Ashun and believed to also be a member of the NPP.

Confusion however broke out when Jennifer Queen reportedly lost her cool and slapped the other lady to the shock of other guests at the party.

“She entered the venue of the event while the victim (Jade Eshun) was on phone and said: ‘Aggie, I want to talk to you’.

She responded that she was on phone but Jennifer Queen insisted on speaking to her,” a source told this portal.

When the victim cut short her call, the NPP executive confronted her on why she claimed she (Jennifer Queen) had not attended school.

Before she could utter a word, she was subjected to hefty slaps to the amazement of other guests as to what could be happening.

In the ensuing melee, other guests had to rush in to save the situation from degenerating into something worse as tempers flared.

Jade Ashun, the victim of the hefty slaps, later tried lodging a complaint of assault with the police but was persuaded by some NPP bigwigs who called her on phone to intercede on behalf of Jennifer Queen.

“They were not at the party, but people who were there called them and they in turn called the victim on phone and pleaded with her not to report the incident as it could cause an embarrassment to the party”, our source revealed.

All attempts to speak to Jennifer Queen on the matter has been unsuccessful. Meanwhile, some guests who were at the event confirmed the sorry scene and condemned the NPP executive for going overboard.
