BREAKING: Late Aliu Mahama’s Mafara Hotel burnt to ashes [Photos]

Fire has razed down one of the top hotels in the Tamale metropolis belonging to late Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama, the Mafara Hotel.

The late Alhaji Aliu Mahama’s son, Farouk Mahama, who confirmed the accident to MyNewsGH said it happened this evening and while there were extensive damages to properties worth thousands of cedis, “thankfully, no life was lost”.

Although not confirmed, the cause of the fire is believed to have been a power surge.

The top 3.5 Star hotel is located at Russian Bungalows in Tamale.
