BOSOMTWE DISTRICT ROADS TO GET FACE LIFT AS CONTRUCTION WORKS BEGINS.

Construction works has begun on the roads in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region as promised by the rulling New Patriotic Party.

It could be recorded that the rulling New Patriotic Party made promises during the campaign season to fixed most of the deplorable roads in the Ashanti region including the Atonsu -Kontanase stretch.

The Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah outlined some major roads in the region which could get face lift as most roads in the region is in deplorable state , as part of fulfilling these campaign promises , contractors who were contracted to work on the Atonsu -Kontanase stretch has started the multi million road project which is expected to complete in two years time.

When Otec fm News reporter Ekuoba Gyasi visited the site today 27th February 2019 , the Assembly member for Aputuogya who double as the convenor , works and housing for the district Hon. Joseph Asante expressed his gratitude to the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffu Addo and the Ashanti Regional Minister Hon Simon Osei Mensah for delivering on their campaign promises.

Hon. Asante cautioned residents who are having their containers and other properties by the roads to adhere to the rules and regulations and remove them to avoid any inconveniences.

He said some of the residents are making the work bit difficult as they are refusing to move their containers from the site pave way for the project ,but added that the assembly will excercise patient until the deadline date elapsed then they would be forced to move all containers from the roadside.

Interacting with some of the residents who are having their containers by the roads side , they said , they are ready to move their properties from the roadside to pave way for the project but pleaded to the assembly to exercise patient as they are also working on where to move their containers to.
