Loudmouth radio presenter, Mugabe Maase has tested positive for COVID-19 rumor has it.

The darling boy of former President John Mahama has for days moved into self-isolation and abandoned his duties due to testing positive for the virus as has been alleged.

A worker with Power FM who disclosed this and wants to remain anonymous stated that “Mugabe Maase has tested positive for COVID-19…He doesn’t observe the safety protocols anytime he has come to office. He doesn’t usually wash his hands but only keeps his face mask on when it is time for him to stream live on Facebook”.

“For days now, you haven’t heard from him because he has tested positive for the virus and the show has been taken over by another staff. We all pray he heals early and return to what he does best for JM”, he said.

It would be recalled that prior to the 2016 general elections, Mugabe Maase, Ako-Gunn and Nelson, were sentenced to four months’ imprisonment each by the Supreme Court for scandalizing the court.

The court also fined GH¢10,000 each.

The trio, threatened the lives of judges of the Superior Courts, especially those who had heard the case on the credibility of the country’s electoral roll filed by Abu Ramadan and Evans Nimako against the Electoral Commission.

They were found guilty of scandalising the court, defying and lowering its authority and bringing its name into disrepute.

However, members of the NDC including Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, considered the courts’ decision as harsh.

The former Education Minister under Mr. John Mahama, signed a petition pleading with the former President to exercise presidential pardon for the three under Article 72 of the 1992 Constitution.

Former President Mahama acceded to the demands of the petitioners and, on August 26, 2016, remitted the convicts’ sentences from four months to one month, which they had served.
