Assin Chiefs Raises Red Flag Against Free Mason

The township of Assin Fosu in the Assin central municipality has been designed with banners of Free Mason advertisement

at vantage places ,some words on the banner are, Join Free Mason Today and Get Rich, Fame, Powers within two days together with group pictures of some of the Freemasons.

The Abakomahene of Affutuakwa Traditional Council Nana Kutin Amoah has said, the chiefs have all agreed that activities of freemasons are not permitted in Assin. According to him, it has never been possible for a man to become rich in only two days since creation and for that matter won’t allow that to happen on their land.

In an interview with Mr. Alfred Samuel Amoh,the morning Show Host of Nkwa fm 88.1, the Abakomahene said,he has ordered for the removal of the banners from the township of Assin fosu with immediate effect because they suspect a doom in their activities. Nana Kutin finally advised the citizenry to run away from quick ways of making money.
He therefore called for a collective efforts in dealing with illegal activities such as fraud, freemason,weed smoking, robbery and many more.

Hon.Nicholas Fiifi Baako The Municipal Chief Executive for Assin fosu central Hon. Nicholas Fiifi Baako reacting to issues of freemason said, he has personally seen some of the banners but because of freedom of Association, no action can be taken against them unless they commit a crime punishable by law.
He continued that, the only thing that can be done is by educating the public about the dangers associated with such societies. Hon MCE said, the assembly was not consulted so the business aspect of it will be tackled by the assembly. He later advised parents to be vigilant on the lifestyle of their children.
