COVID-19 deaths now 112; case count surges to 16,742

Ghana has recorded 311 new COVID-19 cases in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service.

This makes Ghana’s confirmed cases 16,742 out of which 12,720 have recovered and have been discharged.

Currently, the active cases in the country are 3,910.

There’s been an increase in the number of dead persons from 103 yesterday to 112 which means 9 death in less than 24 hours.

The Greater Accra region currently leads with the highest number of infections followed by Ashanti and Western regions.
