Woman raped and killed at Santasi in Kumasi

An unknown identified lady believed to be in his 20s has been killed at Apre, a suburb of Santasi in Kumasi, the Regional Capital of Ashanti Region.

According to residents of the town, it was obvious the lady has been raped by unknown people and possibly killed afterward or even killed during the rape.

Her nakked body was left hanging on a bench in a bush with all cloths lying beside her. Besides the cloth, her wristwatch, mobile phone, and purse were lying around her dead body.

The members of the community have denied knowing who she is sparking the speculation that she might have been killed elsewhere and dumped at Apre in Santasi.

By the time the community members found her, her head was bent on a bench with excreta coming from her anus.

At the time of this report, the Sofoline police have come for the body of the unknown. Her body has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital for an autopsy to be conducted. The police have since launched investigations.
