The ongoing Xenophobic attacks launched by South Africans against other African nationals and other foreigners has seen properties including cars belonging being burnt MyNewsGh.com reports.
According to information Available to MyNewsGh.com the attack on properties belonging to Nigerians occurred just after the South Africans allegedly raided the Nigerian embassy in the country.
It was further learnt that some Nigerians are currently hiding in bushes due to the violence meted out to by South Africans.
Animosity between Africa’s two superpowers – Nigeria and South Africa – has heightened in recent weeks, with an influential Nigerian student body demanding that all South African-owned businesses leave the West African state.
Those protests were sparked by the death of a Nigerian woman who was reportedly strangled in her hotel room during a visit to the South African city of Johannesburg.
