Kumasi: He’s my GAY partner – ‘Sakawa’ suspect tells Police

The 28-year-old alleged cyber fraudster who was arrested for sodomizing 21-year-old has in his caution statement revealed to the Manhyia Divisional Police Command that the victim is his gay partner

Owusu Boakye was allegedly sodomized by the suspect on Sunday June 30, 2019 at Dischemso by the suspect identified as Baafi.

After the incident, the suspect went into hiding until his arrest on Wednesday July 3, 2019 from his hideout upon a tip off but in his account, he and the victim are gay partners and engaged in anal sex on the said day.

It would be recalled that MyNewsGh.com MyNewsGh.com last week Monday reported of how the victim currently at the Manhyia Government Hospital revealed of how he was drugged and sodomized by an alleged ritualist.

According to the victim’s account, he and the suspect met at an event and struck some acquaintance.

His new found friend later asked they go to his house at Dichemso a suburb of Kumasi where he was given an energy drink suspected to have been laced with the drug that made him weak and eventually fell into deep sleep.

The victim revealed that the suspect took advantage and sodomized him severally but when he regain himself, he was told explicitly that he has only 5 days to live.

Fearing for his life despite being unable to walk properly and bleeding profusely, he rushed to Kumasi-based Otec Fm where he was taken to the hospital while a complaint was lodged with the police who confirmed the incident to MyNewsGh.com.

Police have revealed he will be arraigned before court and charged with the offence after investigations
