Kasoa Police gun down two suspected armed robbers

Police Patrol team at the Kasoa Divisional Police Command have killed two persons suspected to be notorious armed robbers at Awutu Bosomabena in the Central Region.

The robbers were alleged to have attempted to rob a stone quarry company located at Awutu Bosomabena in the Awutu Senya West District.

The police have explained that they have had to return fire upon realising that the robbers had opened fire on seeing them.

“The robbers fired 16 rounds of bullets but missed their target while the police managed to gun down two of the 8-member robbery gang,” the police said.

In an interview with Adom News, some workers who witnessed the incident said they are living in fear.

They commended the police for their hard work and professionalism.
