The self-made pastor who threatened to kill the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs Jean Mensah has been remanded by the Circuit Court in Accra, Mynewsgh.com reports.

Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei who was arrested by a joint security operation at his “residence” at a “coded location” in Accra Tuesday morning while granting an interview with HOT FM has been charged on three counts.

In a Statement of Offence sighted by Mynewsgh.com, Apostle Kwabena Owusu Adjei was charged with threat of death, offensive conduct conducive to the breach of the peace and ‘possession of narcotics’.

The Pastor was over the weekend seen in a live video issued a tirade of stern warnings to the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission that she will die if she does not listen to the people and go ahead with compiling a new voters register.

He also alleged that the President of Ghana killed Member of Parliament, JB Danquah for rituals to win 2016 elections.

But the self -acclaimed Pastor in a viral video Tuesdays was seen to have been arrested by the BNI and National Security Officials.

Hours later after his arrest, videos were circulating on various social media platforms suggesting that he had in his possession a substance suspected to be marijuana.

Meanwhile, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has taken credit for the arrest of the Apostle. According to him, he tipped the Police off with information that led to his arrest.

Kennedy Agyapong noted that Kwabena Owusu is part of the Pastors paraded by John Dramni Mahama to destroy the NPP and its leader, Nana Akufo-Addo,.
