BREAKING NEWS: Banker shot dead in Kumasi

A 28-year-old Banker,  identified as Raymond Peprah with  the Atwima Kwanwoma Rural Bank in Kumasi on the early hours of Tuesday, March 5, 2019 was  shot dead at Santasi New site, by suspected armed robbers MyNewsGh.com has gathered.

According to one Stephen, an eyewitness who spoke to Kwame Adinkra on Kumasi-based Pure FM, the incident happened around 12:45am while they were asleep.
The deceased it has been established, was shot twice in the head and left to bleed to death while the robbers believed to have been more than two looted and bolted with their booty.
The body has since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Mortuary pending autopsy.

This comes barely weeks after a staff of Dalex Financial Services has been stabbed to death by unknown assailants at Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi.

31-year-old Noah Appiah, according to the police, was attacked and stabbed to death when he was on his way from work at about 8:00pm close to the defunct Kumasi Children’s Park on Thursday, February 7, 2019
According to residents in the area, they believed the deceased was stabbed to death by armed robbers because his mobile phones and other belongings were taken away from him.
According to the residents, the deceased was stabbed at the back several times.

The deceased was rushed to Komgo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) but pronounced dead on arrival.
